Course Overview:
This nationally recognised course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely and correctly collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing in accordance with workplace procedures and legislative requirements.
HLTPAT005 is suitable for individuals involved in workplace drug and alcohol testing, including collection of urine, oral fluid and breath specimens. The course covers professional conduct, chain of custody procedures, donor identification, specimen handling, and maintaining privacy and integrity throughout the testing process.
