Are you our next Chief Organiser? Colmed Group is hiring our new Logistics Coordinator!
Preferably with a strong background in medical resource management; you will be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and committed to providing quality service. You will be confident in your abilities, reliable, have a strong work ethic and be willing to continue to learn and grow with us.
Our Logistics Coordinator handles our small department of Logistics in Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Queensland. You will work based in Melbourne and have a logistics assistant working in our warehouse in Sydney.
The role handles the following outcomes / criteria:
• Manage all events which require equipment and/or vehicles (incl. checking and packing all equipment allocated to an event)
• Vehicle maintenance management (incl. cleaning vehicles and organising servicing, fuel cards, e-tags etc)
• Medical equipment maintenance management
• Manage stockroom orders
• Procurement – sourcing best possible deals and value for equipment and/or suppliers
• Uniform management
• Web shop management
• Waste/recycling management
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
The role is typically suitable for someone with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in logistics and/or project management or any other role which requires a high level of organisational skill.
Demonstrated experience in any of the following:

Exceptional communication skills with an ability to interact with staff and clients in a professional and objective manner.
A good listener who consults others and communicates proactively whilst supporting and caring for the team.
Capable of using computerised staff rostering software and knowledge of MS Office suite of applications.
