The TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE Cert IV ) qualifies you to deliver nationally-accredited vocational training in TAFEs and private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) as well as in secondary schools with vocational programs. The program helps you to develop your skills to plan and organise assessments, create the right learning environment and improve your communication skills.

Entry Requirements for TAE Cert IV

Computer-literate: Able to research and download on-line information, produce documents, create electronic learning resources, use technology during delivery, and assess and record information as required.
Language proficient: Able to communicate in English clearly.


  • 3 hours of online Zoom classes x 10 (approx. 3 weeks between each)
  • 3 sessions of 4 hours of practical classes for student presentations
  • 12 hours of homework per week, will also need access to groups of learners (most can be friends & family) to complete homework
  • 6-9 months to complete full course
